Functional description
The dust collector works with negative pressure (suction) which drives the air through the suction hood / nozzle,
hose system and pre- and dust separator. Coarse separation takes place in the unit's cyclone, which is a very
efficient separation of increasingly coarser dust. The fine dust is separated in the unit's filter. Filter cleaning with air
pulse gives the filters extra long life. The machine is equipped with HEPA filters.
The dust extractor is durable and reliable. It is particularly well suited to the suction and removal of dry, harmful,
non-combustible dust in filter class H.
DC Tromb Turbo is used for spot extraction (with maximum throttling Ø 15 mm) in diverse tasks, such as when
grinding, welding, personal clean-up and cleaning. DC Tromb Turbo is powered by a 3-phase turbo pump.
Discharge options
The dust extractor has the following discharge options:
a - Container: A cylindrical container for collection of separated material.
c – Plastic bag: The extracted and separated material is collected in a plastic bag that can be detached in one
simple operation. The material can easily be recycled or disposed of.
L – Longopac: The machine is equipped with a flexible bag system, in which the dust is collected in a closed
system.
Lifting the machine
1.
When lifting the machine, there is a risk of personal injury and damage to the machine or environment.
2.
Always define the risk area when lifting.
3.
The machine's cyclone, the discharge system and filter must be emptied and cleaned before lifting.*
4.
Lifting slings (color code purple or higher and with a lifting hook according to standard Class 8 or Class 10) are
recommended for lifting the machine.
5.
The two lifting slings are joined with a lifting hook (A). Position of the lifting slings as shown in the image below
(B) and tighten out the slings after securing them.
