2.1 General Safety Instructions
Check the unit for external, visible damage before use. Do not
operate a damaged or dropped unit.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental ca-
pabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in
a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must
not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must
not be carried out by children without supervision.
Check the item for completeness and function before commissioning.
Do not operate a dropped unit.
Do not use the product if you notice any visible damage.
The unit must be placed on a firm, flat and level floor.
Only have repairs to the unit carried out by authorised specialist com-
panies or customer service. Improper repairs can cause considerable
danger to the user. In addition, the warranty claim will expire.
Defective components may only be replaced with original spare parts.
Only these parts guarantee that the safety requirements are met.
Protect the unit from moisture and the ingress of liquids.
Only pull the mains adapter out of the socket by the plug.
Do not operate the appliance near naked flames.
Do not place the unit directly below or above a wall socket.
In the event of malfunctions and during thunderstorms, pull the
mains plug out of the socket.
Only operate the unit with the mains cable fully unwound. Never
wrap the mains cable around the appliance. Make sure that the
mains cable does not come into contact with hot surfaces. Lay the
cable in such a way that you cannot trip over it.
The unit may only be operated with the supplied power supply unit
(model AS2406A-2401000EU).
No user action is required to set the product to 50 or 60 Hz. The
product automatically adjusts to the correct frequency or voltage.
