1. Support the motorcycle with the main stand.
2. Loosen the rear axle nut 4.
3. If the motorcycle equipped with an all-cased type,
dismantle the chain manhole cover 5 or the lower
chain case 6. It is convenient to check the looseness
of the chain.
4. Loosen the lock nut 2 on the adjustor 1.
5. Move the adjuster 1 horizontally to make the chain
slack for 10–20mm. Make the front and rear chain
wheels on a single straight line by making sure of the
left-right consistency of the sign positions 3 of the
rear wheel fork and the left and right adjusters 1.
6. After adjusting the tightness of the transmission chain,
tighten the rear axle nut 4 and the lock nut 2 and
then reconfirm the tightness of the transmission chain.
7. If the motorcycle equipped with an all-cased type,
mount the chain cover 5 or the lower chain case 6.

make sure the opening direction of
lock ring is the opposite direction of
the chain movement.
NOTE: After adjusting the drive chain, ensure that you
have checked the free stroke of the rear brake pedal.

BRAKES
In different configurations, the front wheel may be
provided with a disc or a drum brake while the rear wheel
provide with a drum brake. Correct brake operation is very
important for safe riding. Be sure to have the brake system
checked regularly. This inspection should be made by an
authorized dealer.
