Filter pull-out
Pulling out the filter drawer
Note: The appliance starts with the functions that were set
when the drawer was closed.
Hold the filter drawer by the middle and pull it out.

a The control panel is accessible and the appliance is
ready for operation.

Turn on the fan
Note: Always adjust the fan strength to meet current
conditions. If there is a large build-up of steam or fumes,

For especially strong odor or vapor, use the intensive
mode.

Saturation notification
The saturation of the metal grease filter or of the active
carbon filter is indicated on the display panel.
¡ Grease filter: Ventilator setting 3 and intensive setting
blink in alternation.
¡ Odor filter: Ventilator setting 3 and intensive setting
blink simultaneously.
If you have not yet done so, the metal mesh grease filters
should be cleaned or the activated carbon filter changed
now.
For instructions on how to clean the metal grease filters,
refer to the section
→ "Cleaning and maintenance", Page 9 .

For circulating-air mode, the electronic control display
must be switched over accordingly:

6.1 Cleaning agents
You can obtain suitable cleaning products from Customer
Service or the online shop.
NOTICE:
Unsuitable cleaning agents may damage the surfaces of
the appliance.
Do not use strong or abrasive cleaning agents.

Do not use cleaning agents with a high alcohol content.
▶
Do not use hard scouring pads or cleaning sponges.
▶
Only use glass cleaners, glass scrapers or stainless

steel care products if recommended in the cleaning
instructions for the relevant part.
Wash sponge cloths thoroughly before use.
