10.1.2 Direct current (DC) measurement
Risk of electric shock! Do not use the clamp on uninsulated conduct-
ors.

Unclamp the conductor if
Notes:
– For direct current measurements, the polarity of the clamp must match the
flow of current along the conductor. A minus sign "-" will appear in front of
the reading if the polarities are reversed.

1. Select a range using the rotary switch:

2. Press the SELECT button to enter DC
mode.

3. Press the ZERO button to perform a
zero adjustment.

4. Clamp the jaws around the conductor to
be measured.

5. Carefully remove the clamp from the
conductor after taking measurements.
6. Switch the power OFF after use.
(overload) appears on the display.

The reading will show on the display.
