USING YOUR PROBE
To use your Temperature Smart Food Probe:
•
Plug it in. The button for the probe will turn on once it detects that it's
been plugged in.
•
Not all Presets are compatible with the probe so make sure to check
the list below.
•
The probe has 2 ways of working. First, as a stand-alone temperature
probe where it will show you the real time temperature. Second, while
actively cooking it can be used as a smart sensor to cook based on
internal temperature.
•
To use it as a stand-alone temperature probe, insert the probe into the
thickest part of the food and press the probe button. The screen will
show the real time temperature of the probe.
•
To use as a smart sensor probe, program your machine with the preset
and internal temperature desired and select play/pause button. The
unit will cook food based on the internal temperature. All the presets
that use the probe function are defaulted to cook to 165°F which is the
safe internal temperature approved by the FDA. Please note that since
this mode will cook based on internal temperature, time will not be
available to adjust.
