Risk of severe injury or death by electrical shock.
•
Be certain that this pump is connected to a circuit equipped with a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) device or a residual cur-
rent device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA if required by code.
Risk of damage to pump or other equipment.
•
Support pump and piping when assembling and when installed. Failure to do so may cause piping to break, pump to fail, motor
bearing failures, etc.
•
Power cord is to be sealed inside of liquid tight ½-inch NPT steel intermediate metal conduit. Use caution to insure cord will have
no nicks or cuts.
1. Fully submerge the pump in the cleaning solvent.
2. Connect the power cord to a constant source of power matching the voltage specified on the pump
nameplate.
• Connect the pump to its own circuit, with no other electric receptacles or equipment in the
circuit.
• If a fused type plug is used, on 230 volt units, a 2.0 Amp fuse is recommended.
• Ensure that the fuses or circuit breaker are of ample capacity in the electrical circuit.
IMPORTANT: If the power cord is damaged, replace the whole unit.
If the power cord does not have a plug, wires are color coded as follows:
