OPEN WINDOW DETECTION, ENERGY SAVING
The open window detection is sensitive to temperature fluctuations, make sure that
the device controlled by the remote controller or the remote controller itself (if the
device is controlled by the radiator) is not disturbed by drafts.
EN
• Overview
Cycle of temperature reduction by setting Freeze Protection when ventilating the room
with an open window. You can access open window detection from the Comfort
mode, Eco mode and Automatic mode.
- Automatic activation: the temperature reduction cycle is triggered when the
remote-controlled device detects temperature changes.
• Automatic activation (factory settings)
To deactivate this mode, see page 42.
The remote-controlled device detects a temperature drop. This drop in temperature
can be caused by a window or door opened outside.
Note: The difference between indoor and outdoor air must cause a significant drop
in temperature for the device to register it. This temperature drop detection triggers a
transition to the Freeze Protection mode.
• - Digital Freeze Protection meter
When the device detects an open window, a cycle time indicator appears on the
display. The counter is automatically reset next time the Freeze Protection is activated
by an open window (automatic or manual activation).
• Stopping the Freeze Protection mode
Press any button to stop the Freeze Protection mode.
Note: If a temperature rise is detected, the device can return to the previous mode (the
mode active before the open window was detected).
