Join the front stones together using two brackets (Fig. 23A).

• Attach the front stones to the top bracket with four wing
nuts (Fig. 23B).
• Attach the front stones to the side panels with four angle
brackets (Fig.23C)

• Place the damper grate on the top of the surround. Pull the
lever back and forth to adjust the damper.

6.1 Maintenance
Maintenance work must only be performed when the fireplace
is completely cold.
Soapstone: Scratches on the surface can be rubbed away using
fine sandpaper. Deeper scratches in the stone can be filled using
a paste made of powdered soapstone and water glass

Glass that should be disposed of as hazardous waste. The
glass in the fireplace must not be placed in a regular source
segregation container.
Vermiculite burn plates that can be disposed of in regular
waste containers.
