Secure the Jøtul JGFW-5 firewall into position (Fig. 16A) with

four screws (Fig. 16B). Note: Screws cannot be used if the
product is to stand against a firewall. The board must then
be glued into place.

Adjust the levelling screws (Fig. 13; 14; 15; 16; 17; 18; 22; 23; 24;
25 and 26 in the main manual for the Jøtul I 520).
Unscrew the rear levelling screws (Fig. 17A) to their maximum
length (this makes it easier to position the insert in the
surround). NB: When the insert is in its place, screw the
levelling screws back again.
The outside air connection (Fig. 17B) must be moved from the
rear to the bottom (See the main manual for the Jøtul I 520
Fig. 3 and 4).
The internal heat shield must be removed (Fig. 6 to Fig. 8 in
the main manual for the Jøtul I 520).
Lift the burnchamber into place in the surround.
Insert a piece of cardboard, wood or other sheet of protective
material to prevent damage to the soapstone.
