READ THE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE
TO AVOID ANY DANGER DUE TO MISUSE
• Do not apply directly to skin, add an isolation layer between
the cuff and the skin.
• Only use Cryo cuffs, power adaptor, spare parts and
accessories approved and supplied by the manufacturer.
• Do not drop or stack heavy items on the product.
• Do not modify, disassemble or destroy the product and only
use for its intended purpose.
• Do not use the product when water leaks.
• Stop use immediately if the product or electrical parts are
damaged / leaking.
• Be careful not to trip over the system's power cords or hose.
• To avoid damage, do not operate the system if water is not
filled in the cooler.

• The product is not refrigeration equipment, need to add ice
water or ice cubes to adjust the temperature.
• Keep the cooler away from sunlight and heat source.
• To avoid risk of electrical shock, always turn off the system and
disconnect power cord from its electrical outlet when not in
use or before adding or emptying ice and water.
• The product should only be used following the treatment
recommendations of your healthcare practitioner.
• Children, the elderly and those who have cognitive disabilities
or communication barriers cannot use the product alone
without supervision.
• This product is under certain pressure when used. It is
forbidden to be used on any wound.
• When using the product, the host machine and the ice capsule
should be placed at the same level, and the height difference
between the two should not be more than 40cm.
• Monitor the skin condition of affected area for any burning,
itching, increased swelling, or pain. If any of these happens, or
any changes in skin appearance occur such as blisters,
increased redness or discoloration, users should stop using and
consult a physician.
(3) INTENDED USE
Dr Aktive® Cryo Pro pulse cold therapy system is intended for
physical cooling, cold treatment and joint protection. It is
intended for postoperative care and acute injury to reduce
oedema, swelling and pain.
Dr Aktive® Cryo Pro is intended to be used by or on the order of
licensed healthcare professionals used in hospitals, outpatient
clinics, athletic training or home settings.
(4) CONTRAINDICATIONS
DO NOT USE THE PRODUCT BEFORE CONSULTING A DOCTOR
IF ANY OF THE FOLLOWING APPLIES
• People with Raynaud's disease.
• People with acute, unstable (untreated) fracture.
• People with rheumatoid arthritis in the affected region.
• People with open wounds, or localized unstable skin condition.
• People who are intolerant to cold compress or have cold
hypersensitivity.
• The pregnant, people with hypertension, extreme low blood
pressure or circulation disorders.
• People with vascular diseases such as prior frostbite, diabetes,
arteriosclerosis or ischemia.
• People with hematological dyscrasias which affect thrombosis
such as paroxysmal cold hemoglobinuria, cryoglobulinemia,
sickle-cell disease or serum cold agglutinins.
• People who are in the acute stages of inflammatory phlebitis in
the affected region.
