The appliance can get hot. Only transport after cooling down.
∙
The appliance must not be used with an external Timer or any other remote con-
trol.
∙
Danger. Appliance can get hot. Danger of burns!!
∙
Never put pots, set of instruments or any other metallic parts on the appliance.
These parts could get very hot, when the cooker is turned on. Never heat up closed
metallic cans. They could explode. The glass surface could show residual heat from
the heated pots.

Never carry, when there are still pots or pans on it.
∙
Never put more than 5 kg on the top of the plate.
∙
Never use the appliance without supervision.
∙
Never use the appliance near to magnetic sensible items (e.g. magnetic cards etc.)
Power:
Put the pot on the plate.
Press the „On/Off" button. Then the display shows the „Heat" light.
Press the button „Stufe" (= means Power), in the Display it is shown „5" (1190W)
With the turnable knob the Power can be adjusted:
1=900W
3=950W
2=900W
4=1040W
The Power steps are suitable for boiling water or soups.
If you want to cook meat or vegetable, please use the temperature function,
to achieve good results.
Temperature:
This function is suitable for roasting meat and vegetables.
Place the pot/pan on the appliance.
Press the „On/Off" button. Press the Temperature button two times. In the display it
is shown 120°C. With the turnable knob the temperature can be adjusted from 60°C
to 240°C.
The build in sensor keeps the adjusted temperature.
If the overheat protection switch off the appliance, let it cool down and start it again.
Timer:
Adjust, as shown above, the Temperature or the Power. Press the „Timer" button. In
the Display „0.00" is visible. With the turnable knob you can adjust thee Time in steps
of 5min from 0 to 180min upwards, and in steps of one minute downwards.
By pressing the „On/Off" button every program can be cancelled. When there is no
or a not suitable pot is on the plate a signal noise is occurring and after some time the
appliance switches to stand by (ca 4 Watt).
