Operation

To switch on
Press On/Off rocker switch " I " once, the
indicator light in the switch will come on.
To switch off
Press rocker switch " 0 ". The indicator
light in in the " I " switch goes out.

Checking the finger guard
The finger guard is a safety feature. Its
correct functioning should be checked each
time before use.
With the machine switched on press the
foot pedal switch right down, the hotplate
lowers on to the rotating roller.
If you now lift the finger guard and hold it
tight, the roller stops rotating and the
heater plate lifts off. This is the test for the
correct functioning of the finger guard.
Lift your foot from the foot pedal switch and
only then let go of the finger guard. The
heater plate stays raised, the roller stands
still.
Switch the ironer on again with the " I "
rocker switch.
