8.1
Maintenance
EasyClean 350 e is effectively maintenance-free.
To remove dust, dirt and stains, the external surfaces of the device can be wiped with a soft,
damp cloth. If necessary a mild detergent can also be used.
CAUTION
The housing may not be cleaned with any solvent containing acetone.
For further cleaning (e.g. blowing out the housing), you may use filtered compressed air that is
free of oil and water (pressure < 6 bar).
CAUTION
The inside of the housing may not be cleaned using liquid or a damp cloth.
8.2
Fault elimination and repairs
DANGER
Please refer to Chapter 2 "Safety"!
Repair work may only be performed by specialists. Before the device is opened, it must be
disconnected from the power supply!
Probable cause
Compressed air not switched on.
Air pressure is too low.
Air control valve jams.
Air hoses defective or
connections interchanged.
Air control valve is not receiving
any power.
Poor contact in air control valve plug.

Remedy
Switch on compressed air.
Increase pressure (4 – 6 bar).
Clean, poss. replace valve.
Check hoses for leaks.
Avoid pinching/distortion of the
the tubing.
Check the wiring as described in
Section 5.3 "Control unit" (Control unit
terminal 16, brown).
