Functions

EasyClean 350 e is designed to be used with the pH 2100 e transmitter. This combination
provides fully automatic flushing, cleaning and calibration of electrodes in retractable housings.
EasyClean 350 e is supplied with a preset application program. In order to cover the most varied
applications, several different parameters can be individually adjusted at the PLC:
– rinse time
– transport time for cleaning and buffer solutions
– residence time of cleaning medium
– calibration delay
– HOLD extension.
EasyClean 350 e triggers the various procedures by switching the respective contact of
the transmitter.
The built-in PLC logic controls all flushing, cleaning and calibration procedures.
The EasyClean has no main switch, and is always in active status.
When the EasyClean 350 e is switched off, the electrode is removed from the process medium.
If the EasyClean 350 e is connected to the mains, the housing and electrode move into the
measuring position.
The message "RUN" appears on the display. The EasyClean is ready for operation.
The "HOLD" function is a function of the transmitter. This function suppresses the measured
values of the electrode during a work cycle of the EasyClean.
NOTICE
The "HOLD" function is mandatory if the transmitter uses limit values for control. Verify how the
control behaves in HOLD mode (is the control still active or inactive?).
The integrated control is equipped with a display which indicates the current function status and
any malfunctions.
