Assembly
Install the valve adapter assembly, screwing it in clockwise, until the
adapter body contacts the valve body. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN. A pair of
pliers is adequate for this step; pipe wrenches exert too much force and may
damage the adapter. VERY IMPORTANT– Do not use any pipe dope, WD-
40 or tape on the adapter threads. The bleed ports (holes) just above the
threads can become clogged and prevent operation.
Now follow procedures 4 and 5 under "Installation and Wiring of
Valves" to reactivate the valve.
