CAUTION FOR USING THE MULCHING FUNCTION
The mulching function is just an additional function on
the mower.
The housing was first designed for collecting grass in the box.
The mulching function can therefore only be used from - and only from - the moment when
the land to be mown is an ornamental lawn (turf) and not a meadow which has been
prepared and cut to a suitable height beforehand. .
The height of grass to be cut by mulching must not exceed 3 cm.
Mulching does not work:
- in long grass (impossible to use mulching after returning from vacation or for a first cut)
- in damp grass (the cut grass sticks to the casing and accumulates).
For effective mulching, it is necessary to mow regularly, once or twice a week, on
perfectly dry grass.
Used in the right conditions, mulching is a type of mowing providing many advantages
(time savings, savings, simplicity, etc.).
Apart from these conditions, there are numerous inconveniences, particularly for the lawn
which deteriorates in the medium term, for the machine and its longevity, and for the user
who will not be satisfied with either the result or their machine.
