Operate the clutch lever in a quick and full motion, so that the clutch lever is in the fully
engaged or fully released position. Keep the clutch lever against the handlebars during
self-propelled mowing. This will help extend the service life of the clutch mechanism.
Stop the engine
Release the clutch lever.
Release the brake lever.
WARNING
The blade will continue to rotate for a few seconds after the engine has stopped.
Disconnect the spark plug cap if the lawnmower is to be left unattended.
