CAUTION:
Before doing any work on the brush cutter or grass trimmer, always switch off the motor and pull the plug cap off the EE
plug
(see Checkup of spark plug").
Always wear protective gloves!
To ensure a long service life and to avoid any damage to the equipment, the following servicing operations should be performed at regular
intervals.
Cleaning of air cleaner
e Unscrew screw (1).
e Remove the air cleaner cover.
s Push the choke lever (2) up (arrow) to prevent dirt particles from
entering the carburetor.
e Remove the sponge element (3). Wash it with lukewarm water and
then dry it thoroughly.
e After cleaning the air cleaner, install the air cleaner cover (4) and
tighten the screw (1) to secure.
