Time zone setting:
• The t ime zone is used f or t he count ries w here t he DCF sig-
nal can be received but t he t ime zone is diff erent f rom
t he German t ime (e.g. + 1=one hour lat er). Adjust t he
t ime zone in int ervals of 30 minut es.
4.2 Alarm Clock Function
• Select your desired alarm t ime by t he ALARM ON/OFF
but t on:
1. W =
Weekday Alarm (only on w eekdays)
2. S =
Single Alarm (once)
3. PRE-AL = w ill be act ivat ed if out door t emperat ure
is under or equal zero degree
• Set t he alarm t ime in t he desired alarm mode. Hold
ALARM ON/OFF but t on f or 2 seconds. The hour digit s are
f lashing. Press ▲ or ▼ but t on t o adjust t he t ime. Conf irm
w it h ALARM ON/OFF but t on. Set minut es in t he same w ay.
In PRE-ALM mode you can choose t o be aw aken 15, 30,
45, 60 or 90 minut es earlier.
• To deact ivat e t he respect ive alarm f unct ion press ▼ but -
t on. OFF appears on t he display. To act ivat e press ▲ but -
t on. The corresponding icon appears or disappears on t he
display.
• Once t he alarm st art s t o ring, you can act ivat e t he snooze
f unct ion by pressing t he t op but t on SNOOZE. The alarm
w ill be int errupt ed f or 8 minut es.
• If you leave t he alarm sound on f or 2 minut es, it w ill ent er
snooze mode aut omat ically w it h maximum 3 t imes.
4.3 Display of date
Each press on t he M ODE but t on w ill change t he display bet -
w een:
• Clock w it h hour, minut es and seconds
• Clock w it h hour, minut es and day of w eek
• Zone t ime w it h hour, minut es and day of w eek
• Zone t ime w it h hour, minut es and seconds
• Day and mont h

4.4 Thermometer
4.4.1 Display change
• Press CHANNEL but t on t o change bet w een t he out door
t ransmit t ers CH1, 2 or 3.
4.4.2 Trend pointers
• The t rend point ers displayed on t he LCD indicat e if t he
t rend of t emperat ure is increasing, st eady or decreasing.
4.4.3 M aximum / M inimum function
• Press M EM but t on t o show t he minimum (M IN) values of
t emperat ure of indoor and out door t ransmit t ers. Press
M EM but t on again t o show t he maximum (M AX) values.
• Hold M EM but t on f or 2 seconds t o clear t he recorded
maximum and minimum reading.

4.5 Weather forecast

• There are 5 diff erent w eat her symbols (sunny, slight ly
cloudy, cloudy, rainy, heavy rain) and 3 diff erent symbols
f or t he t rend of at mospheric pressure (increasing, st eady,
decreasing).
• The w eat her f orecast relat es t o a range of 12 t o 24 hours
and indicat es only a general w eat her t rend. The accuracy
is about 70 % .

4.6 Outdoor thermo sensor

• By pressing t he pick hole on t he t hermo sensor unit w it h a
point ed object t he t emperat ure unit on t he sensor display
can be changed f rom °C t o °F .
• Press RESET t o re-st art in case of problems.
• Af t er successf ul inst allat ion screw up t he bat t ery compart -
ment of t ransmit t er caref ully.
• For having addit ional ext ernal t ransmit t ers (maximum 3),
proceed as described in chapt er 3. Select f or each sensor a
diff erent channel by t he CHANNEL but t on bef ore insert -
ing bat t eries.
