4.7 Positioning of display unit and transmitter
• Choose a shady and dry posit ion f or t he t ransmit t er.
(Direct sunshine f alsif ies t he measurement and con-
t inuous humidit y st rains t he elect ronic component s need-
lessly)
• Place t he Display Unit at t he f inal posit ion. Avoid t he vici-
nit y of any int erf ering f ield like comput er monit ors or TV
set s and solid met al object s.
• Check t he t ransmission of 433 M Hz signal f rom t he t rans-
mit t er t o t he Display Unit (t ransmission range 60 m f ree
f ield). Wit hin f erro-concret e rooms (basement s, super-
st ruct ures), t he received signal is nat urally w eakened.
• If necessary chose anot her posit ion f or t ransmit t er and/or
display unit .
• Fix t he t ransmit t er by using plast ic hanger.
5. Bat t ery Replacement
• When t he bat t eries are used up, low bat t ery icon appears
at t he indoor or out door t emperat ure row.
• Use alkaline bat t eries 1.5 V AA only. Observe correct pola-
rit y.
