˜ Connect power

CAUTION! Risk of product damage!
Ensure that the power supply voltage
corresponds to the voltage printed on the back
or the underside of the product .
Before connecting the power cord 46 ensure
 
you have completed all other connections .
Connect the power cord 46 to the wall outlet .
 
Turn the product off completely to save energy
 
when not in use .
˜ Basic operation
˜ Standby / ON
When you first connect the product to the wall
 
outlet and press the I / O switch 18
the product will enter STANDBY mode .
Press the
button 6 or the
 
the remote control to switch the product ON .
Press the
button 6 or the
 
the remote control to switch the product back
to STANDBY mode .
Remove the power cord 46 from the wall
 
outlet socket if you want to completely
disconnect the product from the mains power .
NOTES:
When turning the product on, it will continue in
 
the mode it was in when it was last turned off .
To save energy the product will automatically
 
switch to standby mode when there is no input
signal (or only a weak one), and when the CD
player is not in use for over 15 minutes .
˜ Select modes
To get to the desired function mode, press the
button 7 or press one of the following
buttons on the remote control CD, USB,
TUNER / DAB, AUX or Bluetooth 21 to select
the desired mode .
˜ Adjust the bass
Press the BASS +/– button 39 on the remote
control repeatedly to select from one of the
following preset sound effects: Bass 0, Bass 1,
Bass 2 .

˜ Adjust the volume
Turn the VOL+ / VOL– control 2 or press
 
the VOL +/– button 43 on the remote control
to adjust the volume .
To turn the sound off, press the
 
button 41 on the remote control .
Press the
 
VOL+ / VOL– control 2 or press the
VOL +/– button 43 on the remote control to
resume normal volume .
˜ Volume memory
The last used volume level will be
 
automatically stored .
˜ Select the equaliser
Press the EQ button 13 or the EQ button 40
 
on the remote control repeatedly to select from
one of the following options: [POP] –
button 20 on
[CLASSIC] – [ROCK] – [JAZZ] – [FLAT] .
˜ Adjust the display brightness
button 20 on
Press the
 
button 35 on the remote control to select the
brightness level .
˜ Set the clock
Setting the clock can only be done in STANDBY
mode .
In STANDBY mode, press and hold the
 
CLOCK button 32 on the remote control until
the hour digits flash on the display .
Press the
 
control to adjust the hour digits .
Press the CLOCK button 32 on the remote
 
control to confirm . The minute digits will then
flash on the display .
Press the
 
control to adjust the minute digits .
Press CLOCK 32 to confirm .
 
NOTE: Each activated state will be cleared
if any buttons are not pressed within
20 seconds .
During time setup, to toggle between 12/24
 
hour formats press the
NOTE: If the product is unplugged or if a
power failure occurs, all setups of the product
will be erased .
