Notes on service, installation and maintenance
Never open your telephone. Repairs and modifications may only be performed by
an expert.
Your telephone has been manufactured for normal conditions of use. Modern furni-
ture is varnished with a wide variety of varnishes and synthetics and are treated
with different cleaning agents. Therefore it cannot be ruled out that some of these
materials contain substances which could attack and soften the plastic of the base
station. These external substances could change the nature of the feet so that they
leave undesirable marks on the surfaces of furniture.
It is understandable that Tenovis cannot accept any liability for such damage.
Therefore use a non-slip mat underneath your base station especially on new or
freshly cleaned and polished furniture.
Wipe your telephone with a slightly damp cloth or an antistatic cloth when necess-
ary. Do not use a dry cloth – this could produce static interference. Never use
cleaners or abrasives.
