Logon and logoff procedures
Log on

base station
Notes:
Press the Paging key on the base
station to which the mobile unit is
logged on until the "In operation"
LED flashes.

Enter PIN if necessary (delivery state:
0000) and scroll down once. If the mobile
unit is already logged on, this is shown in
the display.

S The mobile unit now searches for the base station. Once it has
found it, it jumps automatically to the next display. Otherwise it
aborts the logon procedure after 30 seconds.
S If the mobile unit is already logged onto the base station, this is
displayed.
S If logon fails repeatedly, the PARK no. of the base station should
be entered before the hash. This can be found on the rating plate
on the bottom of the base station.

Enter base PIN if necessary (delivery state:
0000) and scroll down once. "Subscribing"
is displayed briefly. Then an acknowledge
tone confirms the successful logon. A new
display shows the number which the base
has for the mobile unit (e.g. "1") and the
automatically assigned internal number of
the mobile unit (e. g. "0").
S If the mobile unit is to be logged off from the previously set base,
the "Clear" key should be pressed instead of the "Hash"-key. The
mobile unit is logged off immediately. This procedure also clears
the radio symbol from the display.
