Important notes
Read these notes carefully and follow the given recommendations. They will protect
your equipment from damage and prolong its life.
Where you should not use your mobile unit
– Protect your mobile unit against moisture. Do not leave it lying outside in the rain
for example. This could seriously damage the mobile unit.
– Never use your mobile unit in a potentially explosive environment.
If you wear a hearing aid
– Radio signals from your telephone may impair the function of your hearing aid
and cause an uncomfortable humming tone.
Which batteries may be used
– Only use rechargeable batteries Never use disposable batteries! Your mobile unit
could otherwise by destroyed when it is inserted in the base station and may even
explode!
– Only use the following batteries to operate your mobile unit: 3 Varta NiCd
rechargeable batteries, 750 mAh, 751 RS
Tenovis will accept no liability for damage due to using other types of batteries or
non-rechargeable batteries.
– Dispose of used or defective batteries at the appropriate collection points.
If your unit reacts unusually or not at all
– External influences on radio reception may be the cause. In this case simply reset
your unit to the initial state:
S Remove the batteries from the mobile unit and reinsert them correctly.

Disconnect the base station from the mains and reconnect it.
S
Log your mobile unit back onto the base station if necessary.
