Special functions
Your telephone has two special functions which you can use on other telephone
systems if you wish providing your network provider and your PABX support them.
Please consult your public network provider and the operating manual of your
PABX.
– Connected line identification presentation CLIP: Your network provider transfers
the caller's number into the analog network in a suitable form. Your PABX passes
this information on to the analog terminal of the CS578.
– Charge management Your network provider sends a 16 kHz charge pulse (may
have to be applied for separately). Your PABX passes this information on to the
analog terminal of the CS578. Charge management then takes place under
4 menu items:
