Charging the battery
1. If necessary, remove the bat-
tery (4) from the device.
2. Slide the battery (4) into the
charging slot of the charger
(13).
3. Plug the charger (13) into a
power outlet.
4. Once charging is complete,
disconnect the charger (13)
from the mains power supply.
5. Pull the battery (4) out of the
charger (13).
Overview of the LED indicators
on the charger (13):
Green LED (11) illuminated while
the battery is not inserted:
Charger is ready.
Green LED (11) illuminated:
Battery is charged.
Red LED (12) illuminated:
Battery charging.
Red (12) and green LED (11)
flashing: Error
Operate the device

Only operate the device
in mains operation with
the enclosed 12V car ci-
garette lighter connection
cable.
1. Remove the cigarette lighter
from the car power socket.
2. Connect the 12V car ciga-
rette lighter connection cable
(10) to the car power socket.
3. Plug the connector (9) into
the connection on the base of
the device.
The adapter of the 12V
car cigarette lighter
connection cable (10)
contains an F15A/250V
fine-wire fuse, which can
be replaced if necessary.
To do this, loosen the
tip on the adapter and
replace the fuse.
Switching on/off
1. To switch on, press the On/
Off switch (6) once.
The LED light illumina-
tes with reduced
brightness.
2. Change the light levels by
pressing the On/Off switch
(6).
