in one way or another. Next, we will proceed to make a brief description of the different draft stop systems depending
on the model/family that incorporates it.
- C Series: Some units included in the C series (Metallic Fireplaces) have this system incorporated into the
upper part of the unit's hood and its regulation is carried out with the help of a handle that we must turn to the left or
right depending on our needs. combustion preferences (Image 1).
- IZ Series: The equipment included in the IZ series has a built-in system that at no time can be regulated by
the user, but rather by technical provision it opens or closes depending on whether the door is open or closed. When
the door is open the draft stop system will open while if we close the door our draft stop system will close (Image 2).
- Hidro Series: The equipment included in the Hidro series has this system incorporated in the smoke outlet
and its adjustment can be seen on the upper-left part of our equipment. We must bear in mind that its adjustment
must be carried out by pulling or pushing the "lever" set up for this purpose, opening the fire-cutter system when we
extract the "lever" and closing it as we push it (Image 3).

CASUISTICS
Here are some circumstances that you may encounter during the first startup of your equipment:
‐ Oven thermometer (only in equipment that has an oven chamber):
Poor regulation: with the equipment cold, observe if the thermometer temperature approximately
o
matches the temperature in the environment. If there is a large difference, adjust the thermometer manually by
turning, with the help of a flat screwdriver, the screw that the thermometer has in the bulb.
State of the thermometer: we can check this state by placing another one inside the combustion
o
chamber and observe the difference that exists. If this is very large, we can adjust the thermometer with the
equipment cold or, if it persists, it may be in poor condition.
WARNING: It must be taken into account that the position of the thermometer is in the upper part
of the door and that therefore in the center of the oven chamber the temperature can reach between
20/30 degrees more than that indicated by the oven. thermometer.
‐ Axial fans:
No power comes when pressing the switch in position 1 or 2:
o
Check if the connection point to the electrical network is in good condition (try another
electrical component).
If you checked the first point and the problem persists, check the wiring installation. Remove
screws from the frame (if they are insertable) and the screws from the registers where the fans are placed.
If no anomaly is observed, check the axial fans by applying electric current directly. If these
do not work, the problem is with the fans. If the fans are working correctly, there is some part of the wiring or a
component thereof that is in poor condition.
Fans work in position 1 and/or 2 but in position 0 don´t work:
o
In position 0, apply heat to the safety thermostat and if it activates when it exceeds 55
degrees, the operation is correct (it is recommended to do this test with a hot air dryer/stripper).
