4.4.1. Anti-condensate sleeve
You should know that there is an optional device called "ANTI-CONDENSATE SLEEVE" that
allows your installer to assemble the smoke outlet in such a way that, in the event that your
installation generates certain condensation at any specific time, it will be redirected towards the
interior of the tubes and therefore is never visible. This device is designed to be installed right at
the outlet of the equipment.
4.5.
Natural Convention (Insertable Models)
In the event that you are faced with an insert, you should keep
in mind that it is necessary to have open areas in the covering, where
it will be embedded, at the bottom, front, top and sides so that
constant cooling is obtained, thus avoiding a concentration of heat
that could cause malfunctions and/or alarms, etc.
In the lower part we will have planned openings with a minimum
section of 600 cm
2
that allow the constant entry of cold air flow, while
in the upper area we will install outlets through which the generated
flow of hot air can be evacuated, which must have a section never
2
less than 550 cm
.
4.6.
Fitting measurements (Insertable Models)
To observe the correct fitting and front measurements of the equipment, you should refer to the corresponding
technical sheet for each model.
4.7.
End Part of the Chimney
The chimney is positioned at the end of the duct and its function is:
- Evacuate combustion residues into the atmosphere.
- Prevent rain or other objects from entering the smoke outlet pipe.
- Guarantee the evacuation of combustion residues, even if it is windy.
The upper part of the chimney must meet the following criteria:
- The interior section must be equal to that of the smoke evacuation duct
- The outlet section cannot be less than twice the inside of the duct.
- Constructed in such a way as to prevent rain, snow... from falling into the smoke evacuation tube even in
case of wind.
- It must be easy to disassemble to allow access for cleaning, as well as periodic inspections.
- Aesthetically finish the smoke evacuation installation in harmony with the aesthetics of the building.
- Be correctly positioned, guaranteeing correct dispersion of combustion particles.
The Chimney must not encounter obstacles within a radius of 10 meters, such as a wall, trees... If one of these
objects exists, the chimney must be raised at least 1 meter above the obstacle (See Standard UNE 123001).
