4.2.
Safety rules
During the installation of the device, there are certain risks that must
be taken into account, so the following safety measures must be adopted:
- Keep any flammable or heat-sensitive material away at a minimum
safety distance of 1.5 m from both the appliance and the smoke evacuation
ducts (See current fire regulations).
REFERENCES FLAMMABLE OBJECTS
- If the floor is made of flammable material (e.g. parquet, wood...) it must be protected and/or insulated with a
plate of fireproof material placed on the base of the stove, to prevent it from heating up, for example, a steel platform.
- Do not place the stove near combustible walls or walls likely to be affected by thermal shock.
- The stove must only operate with the ash drawer inserted.
- It is recommended to install a carbon monoxide (CO) detector in the room where the appliance is installed.
- Check the minimum volume of the room where it is going to be installed.
- Avoid installing the stove recessed or in small spaces that do not comply with safety distances, if our
equipment is not designed for this.
- Solid waste from combustion (ash) must be collected in an airtight, fire-resistant container.
- You should never use liquid fuels to light your stove.
- The appliance should never be turned on in the presence of gas or vapor emissions (for example, linoleum
glue, gasoline, petroleum, alcohol, etc.). Do not deposit flammable materials near it.
With the equipment on, both the device and the glass reach high temperatures, so caution must
be taken when handling it.
If a fire breaks out in the appliance and/or in the flue:
- Close the loading door.
- Close the combustion air settings.
- Put out the fire using carbon dioxide (CO
- Request the immediate intervention of the FIREFIGHTERS (112).
- Leave the place where the stove is installed and its surroundings.
- Under no circumstances should you put out the fire with a jet of water.
4.3.
Protection of Beams and Pillars
In the insertable models, due to the heat
radiation emitted, we must take into consideration
the protection of the different structural parts of the
home, and must protect them in the event that our
equipment is close to them, taking into account that
in no case At this time, temperatures above 65 ºC
must be reached in the combustible areas.
5- Housing structure.
6- Insulation with refractory material.
7- Bump.
8- Metallic protection.
