Avoid any contact with the hot oil or
any splashes.
The lid and the pan become very hot
during operation. During operation,
only touch the handles and control ele-
ments of the device.
During the cooking process, hot steam
can escape from the opening in the
lid 1. Be careful not to put your hands
into the steam.
Hot steam may escape when the lid is
removed. Please use potholders. Keep
your face and hands well away.
1. Rub the pan with a little cooking oil be-
fore use.
2. To switch the device on, turn the thermo-
stat control 9 to the desired temperature
setting. The temperature control light 10
is lit while the device heats up.
3. The temperature control light 10 goes off
when the pan 7 has reached the select-
ed temperature. Now you can start to
prepare the food.
NOTE: during operation, the device main-
tains the set temperature. The temperature
control light 10 goes off. When the tempera-
ture drops, the device heats up again. The
temperature control light 10 is lit.
4. When preparing the food, make sure to
use only cutlery made of wood or heat-
resistant plastic. Cutlery made of metal
can damage the coated surface of the
electric pan.
5. Put the lid 3 on if you heat up food that
splashes (e.g. oil) or if you want to heat
up food at a low temperature.
6. During the preparation of the food, reg-
ulate the temperature as required with
the thermostat control 9.

The temperature settings
In the following table you will find an overview
of the temperature settings with the temperature
and application ranges. These values can pro-
vide you with a rough guide. When choosing
the temperature setting you should also take
into account the cooking method (e.g. frying,
steaming, braising), the food being cooked
and your personal taste.

The device remains very hot after it is
switched off, and must not be touched.
Only transport the device when it has
cooled down, and when doing so only
use the handles intended for this pur-
pose.
1. Switch off the device by turning the ther-
mostat control 9 to OFF.
2. Pull out the mains plug 4.
3. Let the device cool down before mov-
ing, cleaning and storing it away.
4. Disconnect the plug with thermostat 5
from the device when it has cooled
down completely.
5. Clean the device as soon as possible af-
ter it has cooled down. Do not allow
any residues to dry in the pan 7.
