17.6 Conversion to planing

1. Assembly dust collector
 Loosen the clamp (3) and set the
thicknessing table (1) with the hand
wheel (2) in the lowest position.
 Retighten the clamp (3).
 Pull out the brackets (4) on both sides
of the dust collector.
 The dust collector is positioned so that
the two brackets (4) are in line with
the longitudinal boreholes (5).
 Then press the brackets (4) into the
longitudinal boreholes (5) until you
hear a clear clicking sound.
NOTICE:
A safety switch is integrated in
the longitudinal hole at the front of the
machine, which guarantees that the
machine can only be started when the
brackets of the dust collector are fully
engaged.
 Attach the suction hose (6) both to the
dust collector hodd (7) and to the
machine (8) and secure it with two
hose clamps (9).
 Before starting planing, the automatic
feed must be deactivated.
 To do this, the lever (11) is pulled out
to avoid unnecessary rotation of the
feeding rollers.
