4 . Things to check before using the machine
a) Before commencing work, carefully look around to get

5. Fuel supply: safe handling
Be very careful when han-dling fuel. They are flammable

• Safety
a) The fuel is highly flammable, it must always be
handled with care.
b) Always refuel outdoors, away from open flame or
sparks. Do not inhale fuel fumes as they are toxic.
c) Never add fuel when the engine is running or hot.
d) Do not let petrol or oil come in contact with skin.
e) Keep the oil and gas away from eyes. In case of spills
of oil or gasoline in your eyes, immediately rinse with
clean water. If irritation persists, consult a physician
immediately.
f) Clean up any spilled fuel immediately.
• Mixing the Fuel
a) This tool uses a two-stroke engine which
requires pre-mixing gasoline and 2-cycle oil . Me-
changing of unleaded gasoline and 2-cycle engine oil in a
clean container approved for gasoline .
b) The engine is certified to operate on unleaded gasoline
intended for automotive use with an octane rating of 90
( [R + M] / 2) or more.
c) Do not use any mixtures prepared gas stations such as
those used in motorcycles , mopeds, etc. .
d) Use oil 2 automélangeuse time high quality air-cooled
engines . Do not use automotive oil or 2-stroke outboard
engines.
e) Mix the fuel thoroughly before each supply. Mix in
small amounts. Do not mix more fuel than will be used
within a period of 30 days. It is re ¬ controlled using
2-cycle oil containing a fuel stabilizer.
f) Use only approved containers .
• Filling
a) Clean the area around the filler cap to prevent fuel
contamination .
b ) Loosen the fuel cap slowly to release pressure and to
keep fuel from escaping .
c) Never remove the cap of the fuel tank or add fuel
leaving the engine running . Cool the engine and exhaust
system components before refueling .
d) Fill the fuel tank carefully. Do not overfill the tank.
Avoid spilling fuel . Always stop the mo ¬ tor before
refueling . Never fill the tank of a machine while the
engine is running or hot . Move at least 5 m from the
refueling site before starting engine . Do not smoke!
e) Always replace the cap of the fuel tank and tighten it
well after refueling.
f) If fuel is spilled , do not attempt to start the engine but
move the machine away spillages before starting .
g) Never refuel in a closed room.
h) Never house tool or fuel container in a room where an
open flame such as a water heater.
i) If the fuel tank is draining, it should be done outside.
