Attaching the Tripod Collar Foot
Slide the lens tripod collar ring fully into
the tripod collar foot ( A ). Tighten the tri-
pod collar-locking knob ( B ) to fasten it in
place.
Q The foot cannot be securely fastened if orientated incor-
rectly. Orient the foot as shown in the illustration.
The Tripod Collar
To rotate the camera to take pictures in "tall" (portrait) or "wide" (landscape) orienta-
tion, loosen the tripod collar ring-locking knob.
Q Tighten the tripod collar ring-locking knob to prevent the camera rotating unexpectedly.
Removing the Tripod Collar Foot
Loosen the tripod collar-locking knob ( A )
and keep the tripod collar release lever
pressed ( B ) while sliding the tripod collar
foot from the lens ( C ).
