- Page 5 Page 5 of 16 CP0494 FITTING INSTRUCTIONS Before beginning, ensure the bike is upright and supported by a suitable engine stand or jack placed under the sump of the motorbike. This will prevent the engine from moving when removing engine bolts. DO NOT REMOVE MORE THAN 1 ENGINE BOLT AT ANY TIME. You may wish to remove the belly pan to give more access to the sump, but this is not necessary.
