EMERGENCY KEYBOARD
The emergency keyboard (IP65) allows the use of the system in the event
that the batteries of the handheld are exhausted, in the event that the
handheld is lost or in the event that, for any reason, it is not possible to
control the outputs from the transmitter.
OPERATION
The keyboard reproduces the handheld's function-commands:
1. Power up the receiver.
2. Wait 3-4 seconds.
3. To execute a command, press the ENABLE (=START) key and at the same
time the desired numeric key on the emergency keyboard.

It is not possible to control the outputs simultaneously from
the emergency keypad and the remote control.
CANBOX
Communication interface: 4-bit CANBUS (up to 16 nodes supported): the
CANBUS option has the peculiarity of receiving a radio signal from a
handheld, retransmitting it on a Canbus serial line. This allows, in turn, the
Can outputs to go inside a second programmed control unit, also equipped
with a Canbus line (ECU, PLC, etc). The protocol used by Sistematica in
the Canbus communication of its products is proprietary (or protocol
J1939). While the TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS of the CANBOX 8 remain
unchanged, the CanBox 20 loses 2 outputs in this mode (18 instead of 20).
INPUT EXPANSION PLUG
The input expansion adds a total of 14 digital inputs + 2 analogue inputs
0-10V + 2 analogue inputs 4-20 mA. In some cases the entrances are to be
considered as an alternative to the exits.
Standard 1 meter cable. The plugin connector (24-pole SICMA FCI female and
free wires at the other end) simplifies the installation of the product or the
quick release of the cable from the SMARTBOX. In fact, if you need to replace
the receiver, simply detach it without dismantling everything or opening
the box. The wiring consists of colored wires, depending on the number of
functions, indicated in the installation technical data sheet supplied with the
product, together with the pinout of the connectors.
