POWER ON
The system consists of a transmitter (handheld) and a receiver (SmartBox).
By pressing START on the handheld, the SmartBox exits standby and
establishes the radio connection with the handheld (CloseLink).
The SYSTEM stops when the STOP key or the Emergency Button (if E-STOP
is present) are pressed down or after the TimeOut has elapsed, or when the
radio connection is lost (CloseLink).
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Power up the SmartBox paired with the handheld (see PAIRING in case of
failure to pair) and wait a few seconds.
2. Press START on the handheld to enable the SmartBox to execute the
commands (START also activates the 'EMERGENCY' OUTPUT -EO-). If nothing
is pressed, the system will automatically go into standby after 2 minutes
(TimeOut), also deactivating the EO.
3. Press the desired key on the handheld to activate the output to command
(in our standard software the MASTER OUTPUT -MO- is combined with all
the function keys and activates simultaneously. Ex: KEY 1 => OUT 1+MO).
4. Press STOP at the end of the activity to close the work session.
SYSTEM
System coding (pairing) is a necessary operation when you want to replace
the SMARTBOX, or if you want to use the same one but with a different
handheld from the one to which it was previously paired.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. As soon as the SMARTBOX is powered, its YELLOW LED starts to flash
slowly.
2. Within 15 seconds:
• press START on the handheld as for a normal start of the device
• then keep any 3 keys of the handheld pressed simultaneously (excluding
STOP) until the YELLOW LED on the handheld flashes 3 times.
3. After the triple flash, the handheld / Smartbox system will be paired and
this "pairing" will remain valid until a new pairing is performed.
It is possible on request to combine multiple handhelds with
the same CONTROLLER, or vice versa.
