INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Thank you for choosing Bellisse
manufactured breast and chest wall compression
garment for day- and night-time use.
1. Product description
Bellisse
is designed to support women suffering
®
from lymphedema, post-surgical discomfort,

It is designed to facilitate drainage of excess
lymphatic fluid in the chest, breast, lateral chest

Bellisse
can be used with specialty pads, e.g.

®
which are designed for cushioning or to manage
fibrotic tissue.

Bellisse
is indicated for lymphedema patients
®
(primary or secondary lymphedema) and other
forms of edema during day- and night-time

4. Directions for use
1. When you first receive your Bellisse
take it out of the package and unzip the front
zipper all the way.
2. Slip the garment on as you would any
front-closure bra and then zip it up.
3. Lean over, adjusting your breasts however they
feel most comfortable. Be sure the inner support
system is cupping your bust, with the inner band
under your breasts, supporting them. Expect the
fit to be snug.
4. Before finally donning your Bellisse
cover any open wounds with an appropriate
wound dressing. Sensitive scar tissue can be
covered with a padding.
Donning Tips:
• The back closure is set on the MIDDLE hooks,
which is the true band measurement.
• If adjustment is needed, make use of an
alternative setting of the hooks before donning.
• If further adjustment is needed during the
products life span (e.g. when using additional
padding), please discuss the use of the Bellisse
Extender with your healthcare professional.
• The Bellisse
Extender is hooked into the
®
existing fasteners to add three additional rows
of eye loops.

hooks & eyes behind the front zipper — one at
the bottom and one at the top.

the Bellisse
is on or off.
®
• Simply slip your fingers under the strap at the
top of the shoulder and separate.
• Loosen or tighten and apply pressure to the
two straps to make them re-adhere.
Special notes:
• Adjust to comfortable fit, especially in the axilla,
but ensure coverage of the affected area.
• Even out breast tissue removal (e.g. partial or
complete mastectomy) with a specialty pad, e.g.
JOBST
JoViPad for the breast and chest wall.
®
• Pads or prostheses can be inserted into the
dedicated pocket before donning the garment or
added into the space between garment and skin
after donning the garment by opening the
zipper as needed and inserting the pad.
• Consult your healthcare professional for correct
application and use of specialty pads.
• Long fingernails and jewelry may damage the
garments when putting them on.
• Do not bring the garments into contact with
greasy ointments, body lotions or similar
substances.
• Loose threads or loops should not be cut off,
since this may cause holes or runs to form in
the compression garments.
