to keep in a sanitary condition. Facepieces that are issued to more than one
user must be cleaned before being worn by different individuals.

Dräger X-plore 5500 Use Instructions for NIOSH-approved full facepieces
The facepiece must be disinfected after every use to keep it in a sanitary
condition. It is fully in the user's responsibility to make sure that the facepiece is
totally free of contaminants after this treatment. Never use a facepiece again,
that has not been properly disinfected. In case of doubts dispose of the
facepiece in accordance with the local regulations and use a new one.
Maximum intervals
The facepiece body must be cleaned thoroughly so that no residues from skin
care products remain on it. Otherwise the elasticity in the sealing area can be
lost and the facepiece will no longer fit correctly.

Do not use any solvents (e.g. acetone, alcohol) or cleaning agents containing
abrasive particles for cleaning and disinfecting. Only apply the described
