LUBRICATE AUGERGEARBOX
Theaugergearboxis lubricated atthefactory and shouldnotrequire
additional l ubrication. I f for somereason thelubricantshouldleakout,
or if theaugergearboxhasbeenserviced, a dd Lubriplate GR132 Grease or
equivalent. Maximum 3-1/4 ounces, ( 92 grams)shouldbeused.
Remove filler plug (A,Figure23),oncea year.If grease is visible,do not
add.If grease is notvisible,usea pieceoffinewire, likea dipstickto check
if thereis greasein thegearbox.MobiluxEP1 and ShellAIvaniaEP1 are
suitableequivalents.
LUBRICATE CHUTEROTATION GEAR
Lubricate t hechute rotation gear(A,Figure 24)andshaft (B)withautomo-
tivetypeoil every twenty-five ( 25)operating h ours.

LUBRICATE AUGERSHAFTFITTINGS
1. Usinga handgrease gun, lubricate theaugershaftfittings (B,Figure
23) every ten (10)operating hours.Each timea shearpin is replaced,
theaugershaft(C) MUSTbe greased. (See"AugerShear PinReplace-
ment"section.)
2. Forstorage or whenreplacing shearpins, remove shearpinsand
lubricate augershaftfittings (B).Rotate augers several t imeson the
shaftandreinstalltheshearpins.
