To lower the table (B) Fig. 2 to facilitate cleaning, loosen lock knob (C) and turn handwheel (D) counterclockwise until the table (B)
is at the desired height.
Use the supplied hex wrench to loosen and remove the screw (E) Fig. 3 from the left top edge of the machine and raise the top cover
(F) Fig. 4. to expose the chipbreakers, and cutterhead.
Use a soft cloth moistened with kerosene to carefully remove the protective coating from the table, table rollers, infeed roller, anti-
kickback fingers, cutterhead and cutterhead knives. (Do not use gasoline, acetone, or lacquer thinner for this purpose).

Take extreme care when cleaning the
knives. The cutterhead knives are very sharp.
After cleaning, cover the table surface with a good quality
paste wax.
Lower the top cover and replace the locking screw that was
removed.
HOW TO ATTACH THE CUTTERHEAD gUARD
Position the cutterhead guard (A) Fig. 5 on the top cover
of the machine. Align the holes in the cutterhead guard
(A) Fig. 5 with the holes in the top cover and fasten them
with six M6 x 12mm button-head screws (B) five of which
are shown.
