Carefully move the gauge block (A) Fig. 47 to the right hand side of the table directly under the cutterhead. The distance from
table to cutterhead should be identical on both sides.
4.
To adjust, lower the boot (B) Fig. 48, located underneath the table.
NOTE: The table elevating handwheel must be unlocked when making this adjustment.
5.
Loosen the lock screw (C) Fig. 48. Use large pliers (D) to turn the adjustment sleeve (E) until the table is paralell with the
cutterhead. Tighten the lock screw (C) after adjustment, replace the boot (B).
NOTE: You can make the same adjustment on the other side of the planer if necessary.

HOW TO ADJUST THE TABLE HEIgHT SCALE
The table height scale indicates the distance from the table to the cutting circle (depth of cut).
1.
Plane a piece of wood and stop the machine.
2.
Measure the thickness of the planed end of the stock (Fig. 49). To adjust, loosen the screw (A) Fig. 50, adjust the pointer (B),
and retighten the screw (A).

HOW TO ADJUST THE TABLE gIBS
Disconnect the machine from the power source.
1. Lock the table. Use the feeler gauge to measure the gap
between table gib (A) Fig. 51 and table bracket (B). The gap
should be .005".
2. To adjust, loosen the three locknuts (C), and turn the three
adjustment screws (D) Fig. 51.
3. Check and adjust the gap on the other side of the table in
the same manner. Tighten the six locknuts, three of which
are shown at (C) Fig. 51, after adjustment.
4. Raise and lower the table to its fullest range and check to
see if the table moves up and down without binding.
