NOTE: Do not move the table any further until the adjustment has been completed.

Move the gauge block (B) Fig. 38 under the pressure bar (D).
The bottom of pressure bar (D) should touch the top of the
gauge block (B). Check the opposite end of the pressure bar
in the same manner.
4.
To adjust, loosen the lock nut (E) Fig. 39 and turn the
adjustment screw (F) until the bottom of pressure bar (D) Fig.
38 touches top of gauge block (B). Repeat the adjustment at
the other end of the pressure bar in the same manner.
HOW TO ADJUST THE OUTFEED ROLLER
The outfeed roller feeds the stock out of the machine and should be set at .030" below the cutting circle.
Disconnect the machine from the power source.

Make
certain
that
properly

ADJUSTINg AND REPLACINg kNIVES."

Place the gauge block (A) Fig. 40 on the table, directly under
the cutterhead (B). Use a .030" feeler gauge (C) placed on
top of gage block (A) to raise the table until the cutterhead
knife touches feeler gauge (A) when the knife is at its lowest
point.
NOTE: Do not move the table any farther until the adjustment is
complete.
3.
Place the gauge block (A) Fig. 41 under the outfeed roller
(D). The bottom of roller (D) should touch the gauge block
(A).
4.
To adjust, loosen locknut (E) Fig. 42, and turn the
adjustment screw (F) until the outfeed roller touches the
top of the gauge block (A) Fig. 41.
5.
Repeat the adjustment on the opposite end of the outfeed
roller in the same manner.
6.
Tighten the locknuts (E) Fig. 41 after adjustment.
