GENERAL
Read this instruction manual and retain it
This manual is for the Precision
circular saw. It contains impor-
tant information concerning
operation and handling. To
increase intelligibility the precision circular
saw will hereinafter only be called „power
tool".
Read the instruction manual, especially the
safety instructions carefully before you use
the power tool. Failure to follow this manual
can cause serious injuries or damage to the
saw.
The applicable local and national legislation
regarding the use of this product must be
obeyed. Keep the instruction manual for
continued use. If you are giving the power
tool to a third party then make sure you also
hand the instruction manual over with it.
LEGEND TO SYMBOLS
The following symbols and signal words are
being used throughout the instruction man-
ual or on the packaging.
WARNING!
Indicates a potential hazard that, if not
avoided, could result in death or serious
injury.
CAUTION!
Indicates a potential hazard that, if not
avoided, may cause minor or moderate
injury.
NOTE!
Warns of possible damage to material.
Declaration of Conformity (see
chapter „Declaration of
Conformity"):
This symbol indicates that products com-
ply with all applicable community rules of
the European Economic Area.

To reduce the risk of injury during
operation, read the instructions.
Always wear hearing protection.
The effects of noise can cause
hearing loss.
Wear a dust mask. When working
with wood and other materials,
harmful dust may be generated.
Work with asbestos containing
materials is not permitted!
Wear safety glasses. When working
with electric power tools, sparks,
splinters, chips and dust particles
may be generated and these can
cause loss of sight.
General warning signs – Be atten-
tive and look out for any possible
danger.
Wear protective footwear!
Wear safety gloves!
Electric power tool, protection class
II. This sign symbolises that this unit
corresponds to Protection Class II.
This means that the unit is
equipped with either reinforced or
double insulation between the
mains circuit and output voltage or
metal housing respectively.
Not for wet grinding!
Not for rough grinding!
Do not dispose of electric power
tools with domestic refuse.
