9.0 Troubleshooting
No indication on display:
Check if the rechargeable battery is locked firmly into position. Check contact. Check the state of
battery charge. Connect the adaptor and check the electric connection.
Flash tube does not work:
Check the operation mode.
Check the state of battery charge. When the battery voltage is too low, „LOW BATT" will be shown on
the display. Replace the battery pack and recharge it fully.
When a valid frequency value is displayed, check how long the flash tube has already been used
and replace it when necessary (see descriptions in "Replacing the flash tube").
Flash tube emits a weak blue light and does not produce any noise:
The flash tube is used up. Please replace it (see descriptions in "Replacing the flash tube").
The battery life has shortened:
The capacity of the battery pack shortens considerably after more than approx. 500 recharging
cycles. Please replace it.
Flash sequence is uneven, although the battery pack is fully charged:
Please send the instrument to our authorised dealers for a check-up.
Danger! High voltage! Certain components keep voltage also after disconnection of the
instrument from external or internal power sources. Do not open the instrument.
11.0 Warranty
We grant a 24 month limited warranty period starting with the date of sale. Consumption materials, normal
wear and tear as well as damages caused by improper use are excluded from this warranty.
12.0 Registration
In order to receive information about product changes and updates and to enjoy full warranty, please register
your product. The attached form should be sent to us immediately after taking the device into operation for the
first time.
