4 - INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
4.1 - STARTING UP
The main switch is located at the rear of the
power source.
Flip this switch to turn the machine ON.
This switch must never be flipped in
the course of welding
4.2 - CONTROL FUNCTIONS AND CONNECTIONS
(FRONT PANEL)
1. Control panel to select the welding process and to adjust the
corresponding welding parameters.
2. Digital meter to display the preset welding parameters and the
actual amperage while welding.
3. Encoder control knob: in conjunction with applicable front
panel function switch pad to change value for that function
(ex: Hot start, Arc force) and Amperage.
4. Positive (+) socket.
5. Negative (-) socket.
6. Remote control connector (10 pins receptacle).

4.3 - OTHER CONTROLS AND FEATURES
(REAR PANEL)
A. Power switch: it turns ON/OFF the input power to the machine.
B. Fitted primary cable with plug, it connects the unit to the
mains.
C. Cooling fan: the unit has a F.A.N. (Fan As Needed) circuitry
inside that automatically turns the fan ON or OFF. This feature
reduces the amount of dirt which can be drawn inside the
machine and reduce power consumption. When the machine
is turned ON (Ref.A-Fig.3) the fan will turn ON. The fan will
continue to run whenever the machine is welding. If the
machine does not weld for more than five minutes, the fan
turns OFF.
