HOLZMANN MASCHINEN GmbH
The saw blade tracking has been adjusted in the factory.
However, if adjustment is necessary because the saw blade does
not run centrally on the saw blade wheel, the following steps must
be carried out::
Move the saw arm to its uppermost position, fix it and close the
hydraulic control.
Remove the rear protective cover of the saw arm. To do this,
loosen and remove all screws.
Loosen the hexagon head screws (3) (only loosen, do not
remove)
Loosen the saw blade tension completely with the hand wheel (1)
Use the adjusting screw (4) to adjust the inclination of the wheel
and thus the saw band track.
o Tightening the screw (4) moves the saw band to the
shoulder side of the wheel,
o Loosening moves the belt away.
and then re-tighten the hexagon head screw (3).
Now tension the saw blade with the handwheel
Finally the tracking must be checked, if it is not yet correct repeat
the above steps
The saw blade guide should be close to the workpiece.
This helps to ensure a clean cut. Therefore
- Release the saw-bar guide adjustment knob (2)
- And move the saw blade guide (1) to the desired
position
- Adjusting knob (2) Clamp saw blade guide again

Correct saw blade tension is essential for a
long life of the saw blade and to ensure the
quality of the cut. For this purpose the saw
blade tension must be adjusted with the
handwheel Saw blade tension (1).
NOTE: The correct saw blade tension is
approximately achieved when the saw blade
can be pushed through 2-3mm in the middle
of the cutting area with a force of 50N.
