3.1
Intended purpose
This filter is suitable for use in cold drinking
water up to a water temperature of maxi-
mum 30 °C (86 °F).

Please refer to the chapter on "Intended
Use" for use restrictions.
This filter removes coarse and fine-grained
particles from the water which are larger
than or equal in size to the mesh size of the
filter.
Particles smaller than the supplied
mesh size and impurities causing
turbidity cannot be filtered out of
the water.

Materials used
The materials coming into use are physically,
chemically and corrosively resistant against
the loads that can be expected in the drink-
ing
water
und
DIN EN 13443-1 and DIN 19628 standards
(„Mechanically operated filters in the water
installation"). All materials are physiologically
and hygienically harmless. Plastics fulfill the
KTW guideline of the German Environ-
mental Agency and the DVGW work sheet
W270. Metallic materials fulfill the require-
ments of the DIN 50930-6 standard (Impact
on the Drinking Water Quality).
