prevent any risk of electric shock. Have the installation carried
out by an electrician who will confirm whether or not it is earthed
and will carry out, if necessary, work to ensure it complies with
standards.
!
If moving to a foreign country, check that the cabinet's
characteristics correspond to the country (voltage,
frequency).
i
For your personal safety, the conditioner must be correctly
earthed.
Ensure that the socket is correctly earthed and that your
installation is protected by a circuit breaker (30 mA*).
*not applicable to some countries.

energy saving

information, contact your EuroCave stockist. For France, contact our
customer service. Contacts on www.eurocave.com.
Disposing of packaging
The packaging used by EuroCave is made from
recyclable material (except for the two high density
expanded polystyrene wedges and the appliance's
protective plastic in low density polyethylene).
After unpacking your appliance, take the
packaging to a refuse collection point. For the
most part, it will be recycled.
Recycling: a caring gesture
Electric and electronic equipment is potentially harmful to the
environment and human health owing to the presence of dangerous
substances. You should never therefore trash electric and electronic
equipment with unsorted municipal waste. When buying a new
EuroCave product, you can entrust recycling of your old appliance to
your EuroCave stockist. Talk to your EuroCave stockist, he will explain
the collection methods set up in the EuroCave network.
In accordance with legislation on protecting the environment, your
appliance does not contain C.F.C.s or H.C.F.C.s.
To save energy
Install your conditioner in a suitable location (see next page) and
observe the temperature ranges given.
Keep the door open for as short a time as possible.
i
N. B.: Respecting the environment: when replacing your
conditioner, enquire with your local municipal refuse
department in order to observe the correct recycling
procedure. For refrigerant gas, substances and some parts
contained in the conditioners, EuroCave uses recyclable
material which requires a special disposal procedure.
Disable unused appliances by unplugging them
5. Unpacking your conditioner
• When your appliance is delivered, after unpacking it, check the
outside for signs of damage (dents, warping...).
• If there is a problem, contact your stockist.
!
Insulation of your cellar is a decisive factor in ensuring
optimal performance of your conditioner. The quality of the
insulation will determine the stability of the set temperature.
Do not use fibrous insulation such as glass wool or rock
wool. We recommend that you use extruded polystyrene, at
least 80 mm thick.
