1) Insert the air tube connection into the air tube
socket on the left-hand side of the monitor (Fig.
6).
2) Uncover your upper arm.

The cuff must be directly against your skin.
3) Insert your left arm into the cuff.

4) Position the cuff correctly (Fig. 7):
 The tube must run down the middle of the inside
of your lower arm towards your middle finger.
 The lower edge of the cuff must be about 2 cm
above your elbow.
 The artery marking (arrow above the tube) must
be pointing downwards on the middle of the
inside of your arm.
5) Once the cuff is positioned correctly, fasten the
end with the Velcro.
